Dawn Stagner is a Cheyenne Arapaho tribal member and Eastern Shoshone descendant. She is a writer who focuses on Indigenous affairs and painter who loves to play with magical fantasy and Indigenous imagery.

She also works in Buffalo rematriation and is a lifelong learner of the Arapaho language.
